The Jak II (Earlier Demo) is the earliest build of Jak II that we have access to.
Missions
Several missions are available in this build, but most of them are not completely playable due to missing files.
The table below lists all the missions in this build, along with the names of the same missions in the retail version. The colors indicate how playable the mission is when started from the mission selector:

- partially playable (can not be completed)

city-keira-delivery | Beat time to Race Garage | The Stadium level is missing. You can hit the destination in the void, but you won't be able to finish this mission. | - |
city-board1 | Win JET-Board Stadium challenge (probably) | Missing the Stadium level file. | - |
city-krew-collection | Collect money for Krew | The goal of the mission is the same, to collect money. But their locations are very different. The distance from the next target is displayed on the HUD. Also, there are arrows above the bags, pointing down onto them. | - |
city-yellow-gun-training | Beat Blaster Gun Course | Very similar, but it seems that this gun course is not finished yet because it ends early. | - |
city-power | Turn on five power switches | Somewhat different. Information about the turrets is displayed when they are nearby, in the form of text on the top-left corner of the screen. The turrets do not automatically attack Jak, you need to provoke them first using the guard alert system. You don't need to press any buttons, destroying the turrets is enough. The location of some of the turrets is different (for example, one of them is at the Port). The mission can not be finished because one of the turrets is at the Stadium, but its level file is missing. | - |
city-shuttle | Shuttle Underground Fighters | Somewhat different. The location of the fighters and the targets are different, but close. They are much closer to doors in general. The fighters appear as slim male civilians. Touching a fighter with your Zoomer will fail the mission, probably because it hurts the fighter. The HUD displays your distance from your next target. The fighters do not walk/run to enter your Zoomer: they will just simply teleport into it when you are close enough, same thing when you are delivering them to their targets. | watch |

strip-grenade | Blow up Strip Mine Eco Wells | It seems to be impossible to throw any bombs into the wells. Also, the game crashes when the timer runs out, which makes this mission only partially playable. | - |
city-meet-brutter | Rescue Lurkers for Brutter (probably) | There is a purple marker on the minimap but the level file is missing for the section of the city where the marker is. | - |
city-port-run | ? | Seems to be an inperfect copy of city-krew-collection, but this mission is different: there are no arrows above the bags, you have a set time for the whole mission, all the bags are available from the start, and some of them are not marked on the map. | - |
sewer-board | Drain Sewers to find statue (probably) | Missing the Sewers level files. | - |
forest-hunt | Hunt Haven Forest Metal Heads (probably) | Missing the Haven Forest level files. | - |
